Just graduating from a four year college with a degree in finance? Lee
Wiggins would like to provide some advice on the best entry level finance
positions to pursue. Lee Wiggins worked for a finance company for eighteen
years, even serving as board director for a number of years, so his opinion is
greatly respected. Here are a three of Lee Wiggins’ top available positions in
the current job market:
Financial Auditor
Lee Wiggins knows that being a financial auditor may not sound as
attractive as other positions, but it provides excellent opportunities for
growth and development. Auditors are always in high demand, so you can likely
find a company that fits your needs and desires. Auditors review financial
statements for companies so that they are accurate, honest, and compliant. Lee
Wiggins points out that the average salary for a financial auditor is around
$48-50K a year.
Investment Banking Analyst
Companies will often times hire banking and investment analysts to analyze
potential opportunities and decisions. Come out of college with good
experience, reputable references, and creative thinking and you may be able to
land one of these jobs. Lee Wiggins currently works
for his own investment company, and he would suggest moving in this route if
you are interested in a career in investing. The average salary is rather
competitive, and analysts can expect to make between $50-60K a year.
